My advice....have it hacked off for 20 bucks, if you hate it, have it put back on for 10 bucks. Thats what I did. And FWIW I thought it sounded like a turd.
30 bucks and 30 minutes of your time to find out first hand aint bad.

Had mine removed. No change in sound at idle. At about 4000rpm it does get a little raspy but it's not objectionable, at least to me! I also added an aftermarket Y-Pipe but got no increase/decrease in the exhaust note. To get a good "sports car" sound (not a "Ricer" sound) I think there may be a Nismo exhaust or something similar in my future.
In my opinion it is retarted raspy, sounds like a cherry bomb muffler after about 4k rpm. However, this is my opinion, everyone's is different and you are going to get different responses to your question, because peoples tastes differ. Some are going to say it sounds AWSOME and some (like me) are going to say "ewwwww." Do what I said to do man, its the only way you will know for sure. We can all describe it till were blue in the face, but bottom line is you will never know untill you hear it. And take it from someone who has heard exhuast clip after exhuast clip, they dont help. They give you some IDEA, but a soundclip compared to hearing it yourself is a night and day difference.
Go tommorrow to a local muffler shop and in 30 minutes youll know the answer.
