Has anyone had any experience with this. Sounds like a good safe reliable way to make good power.

I’ve looked at cryogenics before, and it seems like a good idea until you run the numbers.

If a 3.5 liter engine is operating at 5,000 rpm, is it ingesting 8,750 liters of air/minute. At that rate, how long will a bottle of refrigerant last?

Those are my questions also. how often do you have to refill? Where do you refill? How much to Refill? When you spray do you have to keep spraying to keep temps down. Or do you sray and it stays cool for a while? When you spray does it mist into the air to exit?

This is like an upgrade to nitrous. Nitrous is N20, with the reaction
N20 -> N2 +O2 being endothermic. The air cools a shat load. Pure O2 liquid --> Pure O2 (gaseous) is also endothermic, but is more efficient since there is no 'nobel type' gas in the mixture (N2).

This would probably be VERY similar if not better than O2, with a drastic change in A/F ratios as well. I'd declare it pretty damn dangerous if its direct port spray, along with the fact that carrying pure oxygen in ur car w/o a permit is a crime.

NVM..its CO2. Its useless.

I've seen similar set-ups at the drag strip using hot ice. And even frozen gasoline (seriously). Drag races are won and lost by 1/1000 second: if it works it works. But for a street legal car, the hassle seems to outweigh the benefits.
