Default Which cats do you suggest?

Hey I'm working on putting together my exhuast setup and now I'm at the cat stage, so which one's do you guys suggest putting on there? It is a custom setup, so they don't need to be car specific, actually I really don't want to pay for car specific ones when I'm going to redo all the piping anyways, that would be stupid and wasteful... So anyways, what brands do you guys suggest for universal hi flow cats? I see magnaflow makes some under the name "carsound", and other than that I'm clueless. Will cats make my exhaust sound raspy? I REALLY don't want that, price isn't an issue with these, I want something that won't make my exhaust sound like a tin can, I spent a lot of money on the HKS Hi Power Ti mufflers, and I'm willing to do the same on the cats. Thanks in advance.

Hmmm....

I was just reading on Kinetix's website about their cats, they actually use CarSound converters (magnaflow's cat converter brand name) and just weld on the appropriate piping. Since I'm replacing ALL the piping in my exhaust system anyways, I think I should just get the CarSound cats with a 2.5/2.5 setup, it would literally be the same thing as having the Kinetix cats on my car. Anyone out there with kinetix cats? Do you get any rasp out of them? Any input at all on this idea is welcome and wanted. I could get both cats for just over $100, sounds like its well worth the savings, I can't see any negaitve aspects to it at all, except maybe the piping quality which I highly doubt makes THAT much of a horsepower difference. We will let the dyno tell us the answer to that though...

I would recommend the Crawford HFC. I heard these with the HKS exhaust you have personally at Performance Nissan. I believe it was on Tony's car. The exhaust note is mean and has very little rasp. Good gains too!!

Crawford HFC's are a good choice.
