Kinetix, crawford, or aps plenum?
FIrst off is it worth it for the intake plenum, and is there a noticeable difference. I heard that the crawford cant be used witht he stock strut bar and there is something about the original engine cover not fitting. Which is the best?
I would go with a Plenum spacer...
You don't have to change your strut bar and it is much cheeper then an upper plenum...
The next up the line is the Kinetix Version-4 composit upper plenum replacement...
Then you have Craford which on all models you have to change the strut bar and trim your engine cover to fit... But their all excellent and they all do the same thing, allow more air to the front cylinders. There is an extra cost to replace the strut bar but you could trim the engine cover yourself.
Now the daddy of them all: KINETIX SSV total replacement plenum. An excellent choise that lightens your wallet nearly a k...
I'm sure there is more to come.
Skunk even makes a plastic composit spacer that clears the strut bar... It's all good in my opinion as long as she's getting more air... What ever your budget allows...
If cost is no object, then the SSV is your baby
If you want to mod. out your car NA to the max the SSV would be good with a reflash but to maximize its benifits you would be better off going
FORCED INDUCTION.
PS: Sorry to forget the APS... It does the same thing as the rest
