Nismo Exhaust
what is everyone opinion on the nismo exhaust. How does it sound compare to greddy and borla. Im trying to keep my warrenty and I just wanted to know if it was worth it. I know it not much power gain. Does anyone know the stats compare to the other two. If you have the stats for greddy and borla also that would help also.

I have the Nismo. It fit with no problems and only took about 1 hour to install. All parts are high quality. Sound is just right with no road drone. A little pricy but worth the extra money for me.
I highly recommend the Nismo exhaust. It retains the much bally-hooed factory exhaust note of the Z, but amplifies and deepens it an octave! If you remember when the Z first came out, every magazine article on it raved about that (factory) exhaust note. I LOVE IT! Plus, it looks great with the laser-etched N-I-S-M-O on the polished muffler and the exhaust tips. Lastly, it's Nissan Motorsports International tested and approved and that's a great stamp of approval on quality for me.

S-Tune is really really over priced underpowered products... R-Tune is equivalent to the other competetive items of that price range...
We all know its the same thing as the fujitsobo with a different lable on it so dont push it
I dont have anything against NISMO products they r nice looking and all but the price they charge??? BULLSH!T
For NISMO exhaust price its almost as much as HKS Dual Ti! More than an RS*R GTII...and i think both exhausts i named produce much better results and a much aggressive sound...
IMO if u love the stock sound (every other car now have that sound anyway its not unique anymore) go NISMO S-Tune
If u care about the "ricer" canisters go NISMO S-Tune
IMO the injen SES sounded too much like a honda style exhaust, definitely the can style sound. Borla sounded good, but as said above, the Nismo retained the best sound IMO. Still gains power, and has impeccable quality.
As for expensive, it's 950 at performance nissan. That's cheaper than a lot of the exhaust systems I've seen for the z.........

I have the NISMO exhaust also, but i purchased it becuz of the quality and tone, main reason (NO harressment from 5-0). warranty from Nissan should not be a valid reason of purchasing this system..think about it what can go wrong with an exhaust system?
I'll never had to replace any previous systems

for the most part dealers dont care about the cat back exhaust. I had may cars, with custom exhaust, they never said anything. You will be safe with what ever you go with. Pick the one you like
