Default Help!! Single exhaust on n/a car???

I'm thinking about putting single exit exhaust on my car. I've done all the searches and I see different answers, 3" exhaust is too much for n/a, you gain low end with single exit exhaust, it's only for turbo, etc....... What is the answer? Is it good for my car with the mods I have (see sig) or is it not? And why? Also I can't find any sounds clips of single exhaust (prefer it to be JIC TI or Tanabe) Can someone please chime in and help me out? Thanks!!!

I'm also wondering what this might sound like with my LMS test pipes and y-pipe, any idea? Does anybody have a setup like this?

If that's the case, I don't want that then.

It looks horrible though, it looks like a fart can you'd see on a Honda.

I'd like to know aswell.. I like teh new JIC all titanium exhuast and i love single exit exhausts. Since when is single exit ricer honda? Almost all supras, RX7s, STI's, EVOs ect hvae single exit exhausts, and a lot of them sound hella nice. Ive never heard it on an NA car but i doubt it could sound any worse than a dual exhaust on an NA car.

If you put a single exit exhaust on a Z you're left with a hole in the bumper on the other side. Plus, the single exit kits I've seen are huge fart cans.

Exactly and it is technically more "Rice" to have two mufflers and not a true duel exhaust...

But anyway, I put on my Tanabe Ultra Med. before the turbo install and it was one of the best deepest/loudest exhausts I have heard... And trust me when I say I have heard alot from many different makes and models.

"Performance" from just one basic bolt-on like a cat-back or Y-pipe back exhaust isn't something you are gonna "feel" a whole lot... It is more about the look and sound than dyno results pretty much

Now the look might have to be something for some of ya'll to get used to... But like said, Greddy offers a lip kit that has one exhaust outlet.

I like my JIC single. Love the sound of the ti muffler.

Too bad I have to ditch it for a SFR custom 3" HKS Carbon Ti true dual

Chrome grill mod
Blue neon under dash
White ground FX
Painted engine covers
Clear corners
