The injen has been shown to lose power. I would go with the K & N since the intake is located in the engine bay.

i don't know what injen loses power but the injen 1986sp i hear gets really good gains. i have the k and n and it is nice in a way that the cf cover looks good and it pulls nice in the mid (and esp.) at high rpm. but looking at it from an engineering standpoint an intake should get cold air and it's not going to get that in an engine bay. yes the k an n has a snorkel but the damn thing is bent 90 degrees that you wuold have to be getting up over 40mph to get some cooler air sucked into the filter. another thing about the k and n is that i did notice a loss of tq at the lower rpm (possibly from the heat soak)...if you wanted just an intake i would say the injen would perform better than the k an n...but people who get plenums say the short ram is the way to go...in that case get k and n...

Where do you want the filter? Inside or outside the engine bay?

I almost hydrolocked. Thank god everything is Ok. Just get the JWT popcharger or K&N intake. They are the safest. As far as hp gains, IMO your going to gain next to nothing. But your car will sound more aggressive.
