I am gathering that even if you did shim up the strut bar to clear the plenum it would still hit your hood...i could be wrong but i think im on the right track tho.

Why would you get the APS plenum? Do you have a complete APS setup and you want get a theme going? Do you have a brand loyalty? Is APS sponsoring you? You know that spacers do the exact same thing for about a third to half of the price right? Obviously it is your car and you can do what you want but you should know they are the same thing with the same returns. I personally like APS products and I may eventually get the APS plenum as well but only so it goes along with the APS TT setup, the APS cat-delete pipes, and the APS exhaust.

uhh.. i like my APS plenum, although it went on the same time as my turbo so it's hard to say... there is more of a growl than the stock one, i'd say. get it. especially if you're planning on going FI in the future.

Default Well since you did search...

the APS upper plenum negates the OEM strut brace. You can toss the black plastic engine cover, and get a “straight” strut brace. I believe that the following will work:

GT SPEC &185
Cusco $165
Stillen $147
JIC $170
Greddy Strut Tower Bar $104
Crawford $150
