Default How tolerable would this combo be

I was wondering if anybody has tried resonated testpipes with the factory muffler. I have the y-pipe and b-pipe, and would really like to ditch the factory cats. The problem is that I have heard the resonated test pipes are too loud. Is this still the case with the factory muffler?? I cannot have a raspy exhaust. If this would still be the case, I will go with Hiflows. Any input is appreciated. Also, what is your opinion on the different resonated t.p.'s out there?

if you have an aftermarket y-pipe, it will sound terrible with ANY type of test pipe

Most aftermarket cats prolly have a higher airflow rating than the stock muffler, so (unless you are doing it to save money over HF cats), there is no point to getting test pipes

The factory muffler has been prooven to be a good muffler for flow. In fact, It showed no benefit to run an aftermarket muffler, so I didn't
