Closest way of making the Z sound like a V8?
What would give the deep growl of a V8 with the Z's V6 engine? With all the mods, how much HP would it gain too?

Swap in a 426 Hemi with hotter cams, Holley 4-barrel, Flowmaster headers, add some glasspacks and you're good to go.

That's awesome... Got to see one first hand last summer. The car sounded scary... in a good way!
I'd love to see the faces of V8 guys, when he rolls up to a light and revs...
WTF
As they watch his tail lights fade in the distance

Not to be rude or nothing. Its never going to sound like a V8 your missing 2 cylinders and around 1 to 1.5 litre maybe getting that 4.3 stroker kit with high compression might get you close but a V8 is a V8
