i just had my invidia g200 exhaust put on and for some reason the rear part with the mufflers doesnt seem to fit right....the tips on the exhaust stick out like 6 inches....has anyone else had a problem or does this sound like the cali guys sent me exhaust for a g35 coupe???
I dont kno what to do but i am not liking iti called 350z motorsports all day and no answer.kinda shady..any suggestions please

 

If the exhaust tips stick out 6 inches from the rear...then It's definately for the G35 coupe.

did the exhaust meet up with the hangers properly?

If the exhaust was for the G35 then the exhaust hangers would be about 8" away from fitting with the hangers on the 350Z underbody...

what is the part number on the box? was it open?

The MID-Pipe on the G35 coupe is 8" longer then the 350Z
A G35 Muffler (stock) will bolt up on the 350Z and the tips stick out about 2-3 inches...

A G35 Mid Pipe (or midpipe meant for G35) will not bolt up to a 350Z Muffler... it will be simply too long...

F*ck the nismo, he wants the invidia. Besides, the nismo doesn't sound good enough IMO to justify its stock appearance

 

with test pipes and headers there is nothing better then the NISMO IMHO...

but then again, you have to hear it in person...

I bet the growl of my APS exhaust in harmony with two spooling turbos followed by the sound of the BOV sounds ever so slightly better than that Nismo setup IMHO...

yea the exhuast all lined up and everything, it was just for the g35..so i sacrificed the ti tips and cut them off....now it is off the car
