if u live in a rainy region...
dont go with injen
the filter is right up the air dam ... which is not really good for the rain...
imo... for CAI you should get AEM with diverter valve or NISMO (AEM with diverter valve)
if you want something hybrid go with K&N Typhoon ... its nice set up
or you can go pop charger... its ram air... but it sucks in hot air when the car is idle sitting there

You can get an injen cai with a hydrolocking shield. It's basically a shield that covers the intake filter so water wont get in. When summer comes around you can just rip it off

i dont think CAI does THAT much for your car to even tell the difference. i went AEM.. later had to install "diverter valve" or the bypass valve.. but i agree with lastspartan.. a pop charger is best.. cheapest.. easiest to install and functions (increase sound) just as good..

+1 on the JWT Popcharger. It looks and works great( May be subject to debate).

I just installed a PopCharger Monday. It was really easy. Took like 20 minutes. Also, it's supposed to make more horsepower than any other intake I've heard about.

Unless you have aftermarket exhaust you will not see much of a difference performance wise. Save your coins for exhaust and when that is done your car will be ready to get more use out of a CAI...

I have JWT popcharger paired with Stillen test pipes. Good combo, can really feel them at high speeds/rpms. Good stuff, and I didn't lose anything down low my dyno curve is still nice. Just peaks better.

The Injen intake is an excellent choice.

I've had my SP1986 since November and have no complaints whatsoever. You can definately feel the difference up top. Throttle response is better, sounds great, and I haven't had a problem in rain (still getting the Hydroshield thing though). If you have a spacer, It won't fit perfectly but you can make it work. The rubber part going through where the stock intake was sits on the plastic. Doesn't hurt it though.

I have the AEM CAI and love it...I got it on the cheap and repainted it black, so it matches the engine compartment. The sound of the intake above 5,500 rpms is wonderful; there's some kind of resonance with the extened tubing that creates a mean growl. As for rain issues, the filter is tucked in front of the driver side wheel - I've driven in fairly hard rain with no issues.

dont ever believe in manufacture's dyno numbers.. they give you the top number of a million trials.. CAI is "suppose" to give you 10-15 according to lots of manufactures.. you'll be lucky to see 5 with it alone. with some exhaust headers.. its a different story.
