Default plenum question

Im confused on something. What is the difference with a spacer (5/16) or whatever and a new plenum. I know about the plenum that just bolts on the motor but does the spacer go on before it or on the stock on? thanks.

the plenum is 2 parts, upper and lower.

a "new plenum" is either a new upper plenum, or the Kinetix SSV

the MREV mod from Motordyne is a new lower plenum for the 300hp motors

a spacer goes between the upper and lower plenum and can be used with any setup except the SSV

oh, so you need to buy a new plenum and the spacer for the best hp gain. what is the benefit of a spacer?

no you cant combine a plenum spacer with a raised plenum...there is only so much to gain by improving the plenum volume...if you want to buy an aftermarket plenum i have a crawford cast for sale cheap...

Have you reviewed the plenum vs plenum spacer charts published by Z Sport magazine? What conclusions have you made?
