zland .. I could not agree with you more. His expedited, lightning-fast responses really show the support behind the product.

Tony .. Do you ship internationally ? I want to order the 5/16" Iso thermal spacer via international priority mail to Japan. If this is impossible, then my FedEx account number. Please let me know. Thanks.

Hey everyone. PartShippers pre-orders will be shipping out very soon also. I will be keeping everyone informed with shipping dates and send out tracking #'s as soon as they are available. Thanks everyone for your patience. It'll be well worth the wait!

Thanks to Tony for such fast shipping and the nifty pen LoL! The spacer looks great! Only a few questions... Why does the lower plenum on the instruction manual look polished? Do I need to bleed the coolant or do anything "speshal" when disconnecting the plenum hoses? Sorry for being a newb about this.

The installation manual is a compilation of many, many different installs on Z's, G's and FX's. The polished plenum is a picture of Alberts lower collector. He completely polished his collector inside and out!
And no, you don't need to bleed the coolant.

My bad, I put it on before I saw your post. Thanks anyway. I left the coolant hoses on and carefully lifted the plenum up for the install. Car feels more rev happy now.

What it the same problem for you?
Ordered mine on 12/26/05. And the comments about credit cards are a strange coincidence. motordyne also had a problem with my card? I solved the problem by using a different card.

I received my 5/16" spacer directly from Motordyne last week (thanks for the tracking number) and installed it yesterday.

Even for someone as mechanically challenged as me, the installation was not bad.

A couple of suggestions for the instruction manual:
- In Tools Required, you may want to mention a 14mm socket to remove the struts bar bolts, and a 16mm socket (I think) to install the new struts bar bolts.
- For those lame people such as myself, it would be nice to explain which direction the struts bar center nut needs to be turned in to loosen and then re-tighten the struts bar. I had to look it up in the Service Manual (under "Tower Bar")

Finally, I ended up with 2 extra short screws and washers from the pack provided by Motordyne. I think it is OK because they clearly labelled 18 bolts total on the picture, and although they provide 18 replacement bolts, bolts 12 and 17 are actually the guiding pins which get re-used. Please correct me if I am wrong.

But like I said, install was not bad at all. The car drives fine. I don't notice any extra engine growl, but that may be because my pop-charger had already resulted in extra growl.
I think I feel a little extra power, but since I reset my ECU by unplugging the battery overnight, I am thinking it needs to get used to the new air flow.

Overall, another happy customer.

Have you noticed a big increase in sound. Like a more deep and loud one, Yellow Stealth?

Yellow Stealth,

The two extra screws you have are actually replacements for the studs you mention. You can remove the studs a couple of different ways as described in the installation manual. The easiest is with a 4mm socket.

And thank you for your feedback!

Ah, that explains it. I was indeed able to remove them very easily with a 4mm socket. Because these pins were different from all the other screws, I did not occur to me that I should replace them.

Ezcurra, as I mentioned above, my engine started sounding louder and deeper after I installed the JWT pop-charger a while back. I don't think the spacer increased the sound further, or if it did, not by much.
