How about looking at the past several What is the best exhaust posts. Each thread is similar. Members will simply post that their exhaust is the best.

Check the Intake/Exhaust forum. There are a lot to choose from. There is no single exhaust system that is better than any of the others.

I've come down to a narrowed decision. It's fujitsubo if not goin F/I and Injen or HKS if I'm doing F/I. Now the hard part is deciding if I'm going F/I or not.

To paraphrase, "This is post. There are many like it, but this one is his." Sorry I just watched Jarhead...

Anyway. I just bought the Injen SES true dual exhaust system from maximumsportZ and it sounds fan-freaking-tastic! It has a great deep growl when starting off from a stand still yet is still quite quiet when just cruising. Give it a little gas though and it comes right back to life.

Complete intake/exhaust changes: I have a JWT Popcharger intake, Stillen race pipes (Cat Delete), and the previously stated Injen SES true dual.

The best thing about it is I no longer have the embarrassing shrill shrieking Honda Civic with a coffee can exhaust sound. I got this when I took out the cats and it was really, really horrible sounding.

I'm telling you; I had a permanent grin from ear to ear the entire ride home from the muffler shop...

A few people on this board have said they didn't like the sound of the Injen because it sounded too "ricey" but I can't disagree more. To me "ricey" is the high-pitched weedeater sound you get when you put a coffee can on your Honda Civic.

To me the Injen gives the car a sweet bass note with only the tiniest hint, a top not if you will, of the nasty old reedy sound at around 4,000rpms. You don't really hear the old shrill unless you're listening for it.

As far as loundness, it's most definatly louder but well within reasonable limits.

I love the Injen as far as performance and looks. I love the sound down low but when mashing the throtte, I'm afraid of that ricy sound. Sometimes video doesn't do the exhaust justice as it does in person but I don't want to end up buying it and regretting it.

Yeah, I haven't heard anything except stock, stock with resonator removed, stock with cats and resonator removed, and finally cats removed with the Injen. (all of those with the JWT popcharger of course).

After hearing the mildly negative remarks about the Injen and then hearing it in person I'm reminded that it's what YOU like that is important. And again, it really makes me want to hear the others in person too. So basically I have to say nothing matters what is said here.

You may read about something that you think sounds like that's what you want but when YOU hear it in person it sounds horrible. You may hear everyone deriding the thing you thought you wanted to buy but when you hear it, again in person, it sounds amazing.

So, just to muddy the waters, you need to listen to the different exhausts under different situations yourself, in person, if you really want to get the right note. Otherwise if you find a great deal on any of the systems, screw it, buy it. You'll be happy because most of us are just splitting C' hairs.

APS 2.5 TD.. its what I have. Its mildly quiet but its deep and rumbly. Its good NA and even better FI . Its made to sound like a Porsche 911, and it gets the job done. I'd also suggest HKS TD Ti, InjenSES, Greddy EVO and Stillen TD..Fujitsubo, Amuse powerhouse.
