I've been looking at the HKS Hi-power exhaust and it claims to give the most HP and TQ gains. It's pretty expensive, but I think its worth it if it sounds good and gives good power.

Does the exhaust sound good? I'm not looking for something loud, just different. and ..

Does the exhaust give any noticable power improvements? I want to feel a noticeable difference in power.

they are one of the best exhaust system out there. I don't think you will much of different in power when replace exhaust. The only thing you can tell right away is the sound. I would strongly recommend for this exhaust.

 

At idle and normal driving the sound isn't too much louder than stock, is it? I just want something that sounds extremely exotic, something that not many people have heard. A sound that'll make people turn their heads and say "Damn, that sounds nice."

 

if you want that, you will need to install:


1. header
2. testpine
3. spacer for your plenum

those 3 add with your HKS, it will give out the best sound.

 

with those 3 upgrades, how much power will I gain?

 

I've got it and love it! I love the looks and sounds. Here's a short video clip of what it sounds like with a Greddy Twin Turbo and kinetix resonated test pipes. The Turbos quiet down the exhaust a lot, but its still pretty loud at WOT. The quality of the video isn't the best, because it was taken on a digital camera. Just turn up the volume.
