When I first got my car I installed: Injen Exhaust, Aem CAI, Borla Headers,UR Pulley Set, Apexi SAFC2!!! I only gained 25hp and waisted over $3000.00 in these mods!!
Now I got a build engine and im going Greddy Twin Much better

2-8whp. Maybe nothing if your ecu decides to start pulling timing especially on hot days.

Strut bar wont do anything in terms of gaining horsepower, but it will help to be a better driver, marginally if any based on stiffer chassis.

on a dyno, although it matters where you are at, i think you are good for 240 whp more or less, maybe a 8-12whp over stock? alberto is the timeing adjust itself like you say it does?

I noticed he was in Arizona, and modding will start to lean you out. I doubt his i/e alone would lean him out enough to where on hot days his ecu will pull timing but you never know every car reacts different to mods. Honestly that intake blows(my opinion based off of my experience) and the exhaust gains will be minimal.

yeah, those mods are mostly just for a better sound with minimal hp gain.

The stillen strut bar is debatable. Some members say 10 horsepower, others 5.

Alberto is right... With the ECU not cooperating then you are goingn to have trouble gaining hp... Once you have completed your mods for the most part, invest in some sort of piggyback device such as UTEC or UNICHIP. Though they are rather expensive you will notice that your mods will flourish. Also, you need to find someone who knows how to tune those computer controls.

I say including spacer, he will probably see 10rwhp over stock. If not including spacer than 5-6 rwhp ( Intake and exhaust dont do much)

yeah, i think just about everybody tries this path in the beginning but then ultimately realize that FI is the way to go if major hp is what you're after.

i personally just want to mod for a few extra horses so im choosing this path as well....waiting for my 5/16 spacer and ur pulley to arrive....im not expecting a huge difference in performance but just a little something that gives me an edge over stock.

it seems to me that everyone is spending huge amounts of $$ and getting very little in return. I have chosen to take what I consider to be a measured approach to modding my '05 UY Enthusiast. My philosophy towards high performance is simple: Get the most out of what you have before you get more! What I mean is I want to be able to extract ALL of the performance the car has right now so I started with the suspension. I ordered Tanabe coilovers, Cusco A-arms and sway bars, SPC toe bolts & camber adjustment rods, GT Spec rear lateral brace, front & rear lower Tie braces and a 4 point mid chassis reinforcement brace. I feel this will dramatically improve the handling of the vehicle. Once I am happy with the performance of the suspension I will then get high performance wheels & tires. Cold air intakes provide minimal improvement so no rush there, Plenum spacers etc same there. My next big improvement will come from F/I. Most likely twin turbos. Exhaust and brakes will be improved before the TT set up arrives. Just my 2c.

definatly sound good and thought out to me!!

But arnt you dooing to the suspention/ handling what we are dooin to the engine?

sounds like enough $$$$ to go FI!! heh

you must be going for total race/ track setup??
how will all that be on daily driving? since it is already very stiff.(the car)
