Amuse R1 and Bulletproof Automotive
Has anyone here ever bought any Amuse parts from Bulletproof? I'm having problems getting an R1 exhaust from them that I ordered, and paid for, last summer. Not sure if I should be worried yet.

For Amuse, we work with Amuse USA but as of recently, Amuse USA has ceased operations and we have been forced to find alternative means of sourcing the product. It is an unpredictable delay that is neither ours nor the customer's fault.
Fortunately, we were able to get a little bit of an early warning and we moved the order to our alternative source. (so the delay is not as long as it could have been) The product was recieved at our warehouse in Japan on the 18th of January so my best guess it the product will arrive on the next container which will be here in 2 weeks.
As a result of these issues with Amuse, we are inreasing inventory to eliminate the long lead time when ordering from Japan. We currently have 2 G35 Amuse exhausts in stock.

I noticed that you placed the exact same reply in another thread, https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....06#post2047506, and that your name is roo. You are the person at Bulletproof with whom i placed this order last year. You also sent me an email on September 26 stating that my exhaust was in your Japanese warehouse and that it would be in the next shipping container within the next 2 weeks. I'n really confused now. Is this just the standard reply and it's not meant to apply to any particular order?

For fitment on the coupe, you have to remove a few items to get this exhaust to fit. I believe all the objects have to do with emissions equipment. However, removal of these items will not throw a CEL (at least not for me). I have an 03, not sure about 05.
