I took my car to Nissan and they checked it out and after putting it on the computer nothing came up wrong so they said it could be carbon buildup in the throttle body. Sure enough that's what it was. They cleaned the throttle body out and it purrs just fine!

wouldnt that mean he would of had problems before the install????
well.. as long as your car got fixed.

How the heck do you get carbon build-up in the TB? Unless I'm very wrong, carbon comes from combustion which should be happening long after the TB relative to where the TB is placed in the sequence of events. Sounds fishy to me.

PCV routes oil vapors into the intake before the TB. The buildup is normal.

You can find the hose on the bottom side of your intake tube.
