Anybody that has seen and heard the HKS exhaust in person says that its worth every penny. The quality of the exhaust is above and beyond. The exhaust has very few bends, and the one's it does have are minimal. No video that I have seen of the exhaust does it justice. Its just something that you have to hear in person. At every car show and meet, and even at stop lights, I get tons of compliments on the looks and sound of the exhaust.

I will admit, I myself was a little skeptical of spending $1500 for this exhaust, but once I received it and installed, I can clearly justify spending that money on the exhaust. It truly is one of a kind, and I don't think that those new exhausts that are imitating it will even come close to this exhaust in its all around features. Thats just my honest opinion.

I'll put my exhaust up against the HKS ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. Not everyone likes the stock look, including me, but in terms of exhaust note, nobody will be looking at the HKS if up against my APS.

Hehe, comeone guys, an engine sound is like music, everyone has their own taste and preference, you can't say that one is "better" then the other, thats like saying Mozart is better then Michael Jackson. To some yes, for others no.

Personally I think the APS exhaust sounds great, so does the HKS, my preference goes to the HKS because i like a bit "sharper" exhaust note over the deeper note of the APS.

The clip you are referencing is;
A.)taken by a canon digital camera - not a camcorder, not picking up the full sound
B.) is only on free rev

Think what you want, I think the HKS sounds fine, but the first time I got on my APS setup, it was mean as hell.

Hey we all have our opinions. I by no mean find anything attractive about the APS either(looks, sound).

The HKS system definetly sounds great!I just don't justify the price for piping you can only bend in a few different ways under the same car.I will be ordering the newest Injen with the H pipe tomorrow so I will let everyone know how it sounds cause we all know there will not be a big hp difference in dual exhaust N/A.

That APS sounded like crap, maybe you should have gotten the APS 3.5 T/P's and 3.0 Exhaust instead, that might make a better sound, but probably not, just more loud crap. Nothing special about it, and I doubt the new Injen will either if it's anything like the other 2. If you want a great sounding exhaust, get the HKS, Veilside, or Amuse....

After hearing a number of exhaust in person, the HKS exhaust was a hands down winner for me. However, like everything else, exhaust is a personal preference.
