Default pop charger vs injen cai 1986

I'm thinking about possibly swithing out my pop charger for the 1986 injen intake. Do you guy's have any experience with this intake? They show very high dyno's with this intake. I just dont want to waist my money if it's not going to make a difference....let me know what you think..Tanks

popcharger has always shown the best results dyno wise from experience not just by what the manufacturer says. AEM Nismo all the others claim high hp gains 10-15 hp when realistically you get 1-4hp and you lose hp in the low rpms. also on a hot day you feel the heat sock.
best bet is always the k&n filter always safest as the intake system is pretty well thought out on the G's and z's

For the pop charger, where does the air come from? And the same for the Injen intake? Does that make a difference to you?

i have the 1986 model injen cai and you really can feel the difference over the popcharger. also the exhaust note is raised a few decibles. I switched out the popcharger for this and wouldnt switch back... its a better intake IMO

I've got the injen exhaust and cai(1986) too. I originally just had the exhaust and when I added the intake it made the car sound better and you could feel a little difference. An intake is only good for so much though. It probrably wouldn't be worth it.
