iceburns - make sure you tell us what you think about pro-1 exhaust after you install them. Also, get a picture of your facial expression when you hear it WOT for the first time.

I hope to have a before and after video. Exterior and interior, if I can find a place to mount the camera. You'll get to see my pretty face!

Got home a day early! I've got the entire stock exhaust off but my dad is making me take a break so that he can come home and do a safety inspection on how I put the car on stands. I've been taking a few pictures, not too many, just pictures of the components, etc. I haven't taken any under-car shots, but I will when I get it on to see how it fits. I also took a 'before' video of me revving my car, so I'll film an 'after' as well, plus in-car driving (y'all know what a stock Z sounds like from the inside! )

I have the topspeed headers, y pipe and exhaust muflers. the guy i bought the exhaust from jerked me arround and didnt send me the mid pipe but im having one fabricated anyway. And as for the tourqe loss it can be replaced by getting the crank pully. adding the flywheel adn clutch with a decent plenum and you will have more then you asked for in my opinion. Probly the best bang for the buck exhaust. and if you wnna go fi its is a part that you dont have to replace. Iam getting this exact setup installed this weekend so ill be the frst to let ya know how it goes and ill post video inside and out the cabin.

Ice - BEFORE you tighten everything up, place a 2x4 under the mid-pipe or ypipe where they go over the cross member. Then, tighten everything up. If you don't, you could have the problem I did, which was the midpipe rubbing the cross member. I even had to have a new hanger welded onto the midpipe to keep it off the cross member. I have strup headers, obx ypipe, and pro1 3 inch.

Would you say the HKS Dual is the best exhaust for the 350z? I'm in the market to buy a new system but want sound and better performance.

Thanks

I know this post is old, but is that ebay guy still in business. I didn't see any picture of the exhaust anymore! If anyone has a reference where to buy one now, I would appreciate it!

Julius
