those labree's did sound pretty nice, but in that thread someone posted his video of his car with megan tp's and an invidia n1 exhaust and that sounded pretty similar to me!

 

really I actually didn't even try the other link just cuz of all the issues I hear with Megans

 

Megan Racing test pipes rasp and rattle a lot more than that. Not to mention I've seen it break at the welds after 10k miles

i put on top speeds with borla td its a little rapsy so i'm adding 2 more resinators to quiet it down a little.

 

I'll let you guys know as soon as I install them how they sound. So lets see purchasing Friday, shipping probably 5 days etc etc so NEXT saturday I should have them on the car and will post a vid if anyone is even interested by then

Yup getting the Labrees on Friday guessing it will take 3-5 days to get them? Then hopefully I can get them installed quick. Anyhow I'll make a vid of my current set up (Borla TD. MD 5/16 plenum, Injen Cai) first then after with the Labrees just to hear the difference and then post.

I'd do the install myself (have the tools just dont have the jack stands) anyone know what the install would typically run?

 

Yes, there is enough people and its going on already.

Install is about an 1-1.5hrs of labor.

my top speed test seem to make a rattleing noise inside the pipes. i put 2 resinators behind them today to quiet them down i heard that you car rap header wrap around your exhaust to fix the problem. i'm gonna find out tomorrow.

ya that was me lol. i sold the megan resonated test pipes.

 

so i take it you didnt like them, did you replace them with another pair or go back to stock?
