Default installing headers-how hard?

I have installed exhaust systems all the way up to the headers. I bought dc sport headers along with megan test pipes. How hard is it to install the headers? The test pipes will not be a problem.

5 hours for an experienced installer with a lift. Considerably more for the average owner with jack stands. I'd guess 8-10 hours of solid work to get them up there with the car on stands.

The job can be tedious and frustrating. Keep in mind that the install is blind: you can feel what you are doing, you just cant see. Several items are in the way and may have to be removed: the air conditioning condenser and steering linkage. Best of luck.

Looks like I might be spending time under the car. I might be able to use a lift at my friends uncles shop. Hopefully he will say yes. Is there any negative feedback on the Skunk2 plenum spacer? I have yet to install. I heard that you cannot use the factory strut bar or the cover and it hits the hood when closed. Thanks for the information.

Look at my thread just a few down from here. Several people that I have come across have the rear, passenger side stud for the header sticking and getting backed out...

If you have the right tools and time, won't be all that difficult per se.

What gains are you expecting with the headers? Just curious...

I know that now. Getting rid of the skunk2 spacer. Ordering motordyne in the next couple of days.
