Default Should I Reset The ECU

I installed the motordyne spacer and i can feel a diffrence in power. Around 3500-4000 rpm i can feel like a slight hesitation in power and then the power picks up even more. i heard someone say theres felt like a v-tec so thats kinda how it feels. is this normal and i didnt unhook my battery for 24 hours to reset the ecu, i just unhooked it long enough for the install. should i unplug it for 24 hrs and reset the ecu. Thanx

If you are going to reset the ECU there is a much faster way...may not be as easy but you still retain all other settings ie..radio stations...Do a search cuz its insane to type it and i dont have much time to look up the site for ya...search for ECU Reset should give you some results...Ive always reset my ECU with a new install

Were getting a little snow so i just went ahead and disconnected the negative side of the battery. what is that about pumping the accelerator and brake to bleed out the ecu? appreciate the help.

It sounds complicated when you read it but its so easy to do..takes about 45ish seconds and ur done, the ECU is reset and off you go.

Drive for for 200 miles. If you don't like the way the car performs, then you can try resetting the ECU. BTW resetting the ECU is not a cure-all.
