Default Stillen Exhaust... Anybody have em?

I was just wondering what it sounds like compared to stock. What is the tone and volume compared to stock. Do you ever miss the stock sound? Let me know since I am considering purchasing this. TIA

I think you're better off putting this under the Intake & Exhaust Forum.

I did before but not too many responses. Its coming closer to the time that I have to decide if I want it or not. So this is my last hope. Lol.

Search then. People don't respond as much to stuff that's been posted thousands of times. Putting your post in the wrong forum isn't going to do you any good.

I've had Stillens about a year. The sound at acceleration is definetly louder than stock, but quiets down when you get off the gas--much more agressive sound when accelerating than stock. At cruise I doubt that anyone would notice the sound difference between the two. Of course i've always been in the car.

I know someone with the Stillen and I love it. Very nice sound. It seems to have the best performance gains although it is also the heaviest.

Once you get an aftermarket exhaust, you never want to go back to stock.

Ive had the Stillen for about a month and I love it. Quiet until you get on it, definetly deeper and more mellow than the stock exhaust, but when you are in the high RPM's still sounds just as crazy as the stock, just deeper and louder. Excellent quality construction too. Fit is perfect

I might add that they fit like OEM. (I bought my Stillens from an Infiniti dealer and had them installed by my dealer, in case I ever had a warranty question.) The whole job took 1/2 the time that the dealer service manager predicted. They were so impressed, at the dealership, that the service manager phoned me at work so I could listen to the sound when you step on it.

I chose Stillen's X-type catback for max torque and to support the potential SC. The stainless is beautiful and installed myself so was very impressed by its perfect fit. At Idle they pur like a kitten, but in the powerband they growl like a Lion.
