Hey guys, i just got my Injen intake for my 05 anniversary Z. I ordered the SP1986 (new model) but they gave me the RD1985 (old model), now im just wondering should i bother with the hassel of returning the RD1985 and get the SP1986? What are the major differences between the two, is one significantly better than the other one?

i think the differences is that the new model actually replaces the factory plastic MAF housing and has a slot to put the unit back into the intake path. If that makes any sense...

i believe the SP1986 has a one piece pipe that incorporates the MAF into the
pipe itself. looks much better IMO.

 

take it back....1986 is a little better
