Stillen has just introduced their exhaust system.
After exhaustively (pun intended) researching and dynoing, they claim they have come up with a product that produces gains, "unlike many other out there".

13 HP at 5600rpm conveniently giving theZ 300Hp and
14lb ft torque at 4500RPM

What do you think guys... are they for real?

For the full exhaust, including the Y-pipe, it's believable.

What I want to know is the weight of the whole thing.

 

I like the system, but I have 3 questions:

1) Price?

2) Will this particular cat-back be compatable with Stillen's announced "full length headers?"

3) I like the NISMO rear muffler MUCH better!

BIG Q: Does the NISMO muffler (with the NISMO engraving that looks so fly) have DUAL inlets, so that it could be used with the Stillen dual exhaust? Or is it one inlet with two outlets?

 

They said the exhaust will cost 1095.00 and they are working on headers that will give 15hp but no price on it as of yet.

Tuned long tube headers and hi-flow cats would seem to give the best hp gains without the danger of a rasp or losing the nice bassy burble we get from the factory.

I love the factory exhaust characteristics so much, I hate to mess with it.

I'm really looking forward to the headers, for that reason, although I will also be looking forward to hearing the Stillen cat-back at a meet soon; I may change my mind.

Any word on a HFC from Stillen?

Is Stillen posting the hp from the crank or rear wheel for thier new exhaust system? I think they are full of sh@t what ever it is!
