Default Yay or Nay, SFR exhaust

After many months of research and deliberating, I have come down to SFR's Borla y-pipe back exhaust. In spite of the lack of dyno numbers, db levels, and the rest of the statistics i'm feeling confident in the purchase. Also, from the only 2 sound clips i could find, it sounds clean and throaty. What my real question is that has anyone heard, have, or used this particular exhaust? Any help would much appreciated and a second opinion will help aid me in to affirming this buy.

I'll just say I wouldn't put it on my car. There are WAY too many good(better) choices out there to consider an SFR setup - just my opinion

Your is opinion based on the first hand expierance with thier poducts or is it a general dislike for thier products as whole and thier business practices? I'm not trying to sound rude, but rather just wondering why you wouldnt put an SFR product on your Z.. Highly appreciate your response and your opinion on the matter, thanks.

I haven't had one of their products on my car. I looked into their 3" exhaust, but after some research, decided it wasn't a good choice for me. For lack of a better description, they have a rep for poor quality and fitment (sometimes). I didn't like they way the exhaust was put together- claiming a 3" dual, but the exhaust was 2.5" for roughly the first 12" for the setup I was looking into.

IMO, SFR is a tiny step above going custom exhaust. I am sure some out their love their products and have great experience with them. I just found after some research, that there were better choices out there for me.

I have the sfr 3 inch exhaust. I have had fitment issues and no matter what the muffler shop did, the passenger side muffler sits further back than the drivers side. I am a perfectionist and this is killing me. It is also burning up my bumper on that side. This could be a problem with only my exhaust. Who knows?

Sorry to open up an old thread, but has anyone else have anything to say about this Speed Force Racing exhaust? I need a 3" Y-pipe back exhaust for a single turbo application, and am consider it as an option.
