Default Crawford, Random Tech, or Kinetix Cats?

I have the Nismo cat-back exhaust and now I want to replace the stock cats. I have narrowed the field to Crawford, Random Technology, and Kinetix. I have read all the posts so please don't tell me to do a search, I am trying to get a quantitative statistic. I have heard about the Crawford rattles and cracking from all vendors. So, let's take a poll and see what the overall 350Z owners opinions are. Please do not vote if you do not have actual experience with one of these 3 high-flow catalytic converters.

Thanks,
Plucky

when iw as in the market for some kind of HFC or test pipe, i noted that every cat had its share of breaking/cracking ect. No one was superior to the other... they all also outsourced the cells.... just something to think about. Your best bet is going with what you feel comfortable buying (and who would replace a broken item fastest). U might think i'm biased, but kinetix has a good history of replacing things that broke because of faulty construction ect. My friends turbo supra has random techs, and they've taken his car pretty nicely so far...

I have the Kinetix ones and the difference can be felt immediately. Only negative that I have is that there is a raspy rattle noise at certain RPMs.

i have some rasp too with my kinetix cat but I believe all of them will have it. I heard someone saying they used heat wrap on their cats and it stopped the rattling. My rasp isnt too bad so I'm in no hurry to wrap mine just yet.

I'm wondering why heat wrap would change the rasp. There are no parts on the outside of the cats that by wrapping with something would change sound.
