Sig material right there.

Have you confronted the seller with all of this? aside from the point of whether they make power or not, it's not the question at hand. point is you were under the impression you bought a borla product; if you didn't, there is a bigger problem here

DUH...do you even have header install yet? or just "heard this and hear that?" BECAUSE few people here already had their STRUP header installed. Labor $350. Do you think the shop willing to charge you a 8 hours job for $350? Tell me about it.

and a lot of these people get hookups, liek the guy who got headers+sways installed for $200.........right, that's only a 2hr job

and yes, I have headers, and cats, and sways, and pullies, and MD plenum stuff, and intake and tires

if you can change the headers in these cars in 2hrs then either you're lying or your hands are flying faster than anything i've ever seen; hell, the cats are ~40minutes to do (off/on), so somehow you're going to remove all the misc. **** blocking your path, swap the headers in 80minutes...ummmmmmm

It's just that STRUP headers ADVERTIZE that they can be installed easily, i.e. without lifting the engine, which saves a ton of time. I was asking if it is true that their improved clearance really makes a big difference. Have you seen anyone install the strup headers? No?

I don't know with other header but with STRUP, you don't have to remove anything. At least 2 guys here got it done and that is no hook up price from the shop.

Install on any header for the G or Z is the same install time except crawford. I would say about eight hours.

The Borla header #17221 is their 2nd generation for the Z. So, about all of the negative comments above, are they referring to Gen 1 or Gen 2. The Borla website says 24hp w/ header and dual exhaust. BTW, the engine doesn't need to be lifted for Borla, but it was 6hrs work by my ASE master tech. And he had tools that I never imagined existed to get in through tight spaces where sight of bolt/stud target was impossible. Great tools, skill, and spatially abled mind are to be appreciated by laymen as myself.
