yea i realized that, but its clearly indicated on the web that it does have a part #17221, and how would Borla know for their 1 million mile warranty that this was their product and not a replica look a like? there has to be at least the part # etched in it somewhere... anyone?

I just found a DIY install pdf file and in the file the headers have a big BORLA logo engraved on only one of the headers. Im going to get to the bottom of this.. might even contact Borla, which is the best way to actually find out. http://www.borla.com/media/installations/17221.pdf

the logo might come off. For example, i just sold my Random Technology HFC and the logo is no longer there. It doesn't mean it's fake. Did the seller tell you about missing logo or provide you the picture before the sell?

The seller didn't indicate anything about missing logo/part#.. no pictures.. nothing. The seller had a high itrader score so i thought it would be alright. I got the headers pretty cheap so I don't think im going to stress too much about it. But i will find out what exactly is going on, and prevent further scams of any sort, will keep u guys posted

They have been proven to have little to no gains.
how come i've seen on some website gains of 12hp 10tq? is it false advertisement? and if so what kind of headers who you recommend for good performance? ive decided im keeping my z N/a so i will invest in good quality products.

false advertisement? YES.

Good header: Crawford, nismo, DC Sport or Strup

I would recommend STRUP.

Borla himself said that his headers don't make any gains.

I would call them to ask if they put a logo on them or not....but it doesn't look like they do.

+1 on little or no gains, saw one dyno with the Z gains 0 peak horsepower but it did gain 2 lbs of torque. but the horrible part was that the Z actually lost hp at mid range.

yes; borla's suck *** and make you loose power. On their website they talk about gaining like 10hp if you have their exhaust too - yea, their exhaust makes some power and makes up for what the headers robbed you, lmao.

You should get rid of those headers. The install is expensive and a huge pain in the a$$ for the non existant gains those borla headers provide. Then you should go get a lap dance. Because **** make every situation better.

Is it true that the strup headers are the easiest to install due to best clearance? LOL I'm lazy and don't feel like searching.

no, ANY headers other than crawford will be of roughly the same install time

why people think that strup are like 2-3hrs max but something like dc or topspeed or nismo is 8hrs is just ****ing stupid since they're basically the sam damn things

exactly! Even an experienced mechanic will still need 6-8 hours to install these headers. More time for the Crawfords.

Crawfords take a little longer to install,..but not by much. I think Doug can install them pretty fast though.
