I was the test car and WOW! GOOD NEWS!
As some of you may know, the guys over at Fast Intentions (Tony and
Danny) in Northridge needed a g35 coupe and 350z as test cars for their
new line of complete exhaust systems. I was lucky enough to have my
car (350z) used as a test car.
A few days after I dropped off my car, I got a call from Tony letting
me know I could come back to pick it up. On the way there I had a
churning feeling in my stomach, as I didn't know what to expect and was
fearful that I wouldn't be satisfied. But when I arrived at the shop, I
saw the true dual exhaust nicely polished and installed. My car was up
on the lift so I could clearly see the pipes running beneath. The
double walled tips retained the stock exhaust look, which looks a lot
stronger and classier in my opinion.
Tony brought the car down and started her up. When I heard the car
with the complete system for the first time, I was blown away. The
sound was similar to stock, almost like the nismo, but 10 times more
aggressive w/out drone or rasp. The idle was clean and crisp with a bit of a
growl.
Tony pulled the car out of the garage letting me take it for a spin.
I got to drive the car around for a while and instantly fell in love.
I felt the car pull way harder and come alive at WOT. I honestly
didn't expect to see this much increase in power from an exhaust system that
sounded this beautiful.
For those of you looking for aftermarket exhausts and just aren't
happy with whats available to us, you HAVE TO check these guys out. What
they've created is a True Dual setup like nothing else in the industry.
There will be dyno results up shortly to show the exact gains and
details. Pictures will also be available, so stay tuned! They have a website with some information about the company at www.fastintentions.com also.

hey guys, please be patient, sound clips, pictures, prices, dyno results will all be up shortly. As much as I would like to, I promised the guys i wouldn't give away specific details, especially about pricing and dyno results. Believe me, I really want to tell you guys. The company is getting setup as a sponsor, so they will post everything you want and need to know. They're also planning to launch a group buy very soon.
Right now, some finishing touches are being done on the system before it will be released on the market. After all, nobody wants an unreliable product bolted on their car right? We only want the best, of course.
When I get it put back on my car, I am willing to let all of you hear it in person. Heck, I'll even let you guys take my car for a spin (if you know how to drive manual). That's how confident I am that you guys will like it.
In response to Bee Ess Pee's statement, I wasn't paid a penny to say this. I've actually been looking for the best sounding/performing aftermarket exhaust system since the first day I've had my car. I almost settled for the Nismo one but just knew I wouldn't be 100% satisfied knowing I didn't have true duals.
I'll keep you guys updated on what's going on later this week. I'll take pictures and upload ASAP.
here's a link to the g35 coupe test car. there are some pictures in the thread giving you and idea of what it looks like.

To me, the HKS sounds a bit too deep and a bit raspy/shaky. This is just my opinion, I know there are a lot of fans of the HKS system, and to each his own. The Fast Intentions exhaust has a bolder sound without the rasp or drone throughout the powerband, not to deep, more like that of an exotic. It's a distinct sound that you definitely need to hear live.
I'm also not crazy about the burnt tips on the HKS. Again, its just personal preference, but it just looks kinda ricer to me.

I'm around Diamond Bar, Brea, Rowland Heights most of the time.
I stated in a previous post that the exhaust system is getting some finishing touches done, so I should have it complete and on my car either next week or the week after.
