Default Hi-Flo Catz Vs. Test pipes; round 100

I need to order some cats, next week and need some last minute input.
where can I order catz without the $500 price tag (most likely crawford)

- i'm ordering catz cuz they don't throw out the engine light
- no rasp
- con is that the price is much higher

peeps with testpipes

- anybody that 'doesn't' experience rasps?
- any quick fix to engine light cell?

any other inputs?

I did a Froogle search for these manufactures...

High Flow Catalytic Convertor
Ultimate Racing
LaBree Motorsports
Central20
Mines
Power Enterprise
Crawford Z Car Service
NISMO
Random Technology
Kinetix Racing

...then selected the best price. You can do the same.

I like my Labree resonated test pipes. They are top quality with very little rasp. Do a search for labree.

With test pipes, rasp is inevitable unless you buy the resonated ones.

Is it true that resonated TP's have less of a hp gain than non resonated?

more air flow on non-resonated? 1 or 2hp more? no one can really have a solid proof for it.

So would high flow cats be a complete waste of money on a turbo car? Test pipes the only way to go to see a good power gain?

cats won't be a waste of money in a FI'd car. I'm thinking since non resonated TP's got straighter/smooth passage, it should allow the air to be exhaled more freely, therefore more power.
