you get what you pay for....and if you pay 128 for headers they will fall apart in a year or two on you; if you want to be cheap (like me ^_^ ) but topspeed for $300 - excellent quality and good company.

for sale section of this forum (i'd avoid ebay just because it's a 50/50 chance on there - you may get topspeed, you may get some $50 knock off that claims it's topspeed - seen quite a few forum members buy from ebay then go 'hey, how come this isn't shipped in the topspeed box.....this isn't topspeed....i got scammed....well no **** )

stainless steel topspeed, strup, dc, alphawerks are basically all the same thing; 1 is not superior to the other.

i've had both strup and topspeed headers (sold the strup because i could make a profit on them and picke dup topspeed really cheap ^_^ ) and they were identical in build quality and welds.

Interesting.

I'm planning to get the Top-speed, then do a custome 2.5" Collector with custom exhaust. Wonder if it's good

Say what? The collector is part of the header...

As I said above it appears that DC deburs the welds on the inside of the collector which you would think would offer a flow advantage by reducing turbulence. See the comparison of photos I've collected here:

Yeah, I don't think it'll win any awards and you can probably do just as good a job yourself, if you're up to the task.

The lowest gains i have ever seen for Alphawerks is 14RWHP. The highest i have seen is 21+ RWHP.

I have never seen TOpspeed, Strup, or DC dynos with even 14RWHP gains.

I just dont believe they are all equal because they "look" the same. The Fujitsubo exhaust looks the same as a stock exhaust, but there are gains being made with the Fuji.

Yes, the Fuji exhaust is 3", but can you guys tell me you measured all the headers in every way possible and that they all measure exactly the same in every way possible? No, i didnt think so.

headers... i dunno i had them before and yes i felt some midrange but virtually no topend. My previous car was a G35 with all bolt-on except penlum and no tune and it still felt outta breath at near redline. I had the DC headers when they first came out. The price was cheap then due to a mistake on summit racing but the header install was long and the people who installed it for me was *****ing about how difficult the install is because of the lack of room. Im planning on doing headers again but this time perhaps the more expensive route... crawford or save some money and get strup.

I don't know how DC or Alphawerk are, with STRUP, the installer happy with it since they fit really good.
