Do you have any torque specs for the nuts and bolts...? Or do you just tighten them by hand..? Asking you this question because I will be helping a friend out on an exhaust install.

you have to torque them down, they are bolted together pretty tight.

next week i will post up the sound clip of the stillen with the aam hf cats.

At idle you can't even tell it's an upgraded exhaust. even with my race pipes
on. And like you said at 3K is where it starts to kick in. i made the mistake of
going with race pipes and at 3K and beyond it's insane. way too loud for me
even though i actually wanted something kinda loud. the hf cats should tone
it down to a reasonable level.
Do what I did when I put on test pipes to quite it down a little. I went out and bought an aps TT now the exhaust sounds great. Oh and the pick up is a little better...LOL

haHa! Man my wife would kill me. I'm already on probation for getting the
stillen cat-back and pipes. haven't even told her about the hf cats yet.

a turbo? only if you have an extra guest bedroom that i can crash in. and
maybe some bandages for the beating i would get before getting kicked
out.. LOL!

Yeah I was gonna use my PDA to get some clips. So yeah I'll do that soon. But I hear some weird rubbing or something coming from the rear section. Any of you stillen guys have that?

Yea, I had a rattle after installing my Stillen TD. It wasn't clearing the M brace enough. Reinstalled it three different times, still had the rattle. Come to find out, the dam X pipe was welded upside down. Stillen was no help, so i just wedged some heat wrap between the pipe and the brace, no more rattle.
If the exhaust isn't clearing the M brace by at least a 1/4 inch it will rattle when you first accelerate.
