Default Megan Testpipes + TopSpeed Exhaust

.... its too damn loud.... mannn.. i just finished installing it myself, and mannn it was so loud... im thinking its my testpipes... i live in los angeles, and i know for sure im going to be harrassed by cops left and right... so if i take my cats out and leave it stock, will it sound better? i like the sound, but its just too loud... anyone whose going for this setup, i suggest you listen to it in person, before you go for this... it is too loud, its stupid loud.. lol... my 1st experience installing the exhaust too...

Catalytic converters are not sound deadening components, but are more restrictive than test pipes. Less exhaust volume - less noise.

Note: add headers for stupid loud.

I had the topspeed on my car for about 24 hours before I pulled it off and sold it. WAY too loud for me especially with a Y-pipe. It sounded great in the video clips I saw but there is no way to judge how loud it is until you hear it in person.

Very true. Video clips cannot truely convey the sound of this exhaust. That's why I plan on running headers and test pipes.
