Took to a muffler shop. Charged $80 for 1 hour labor. One guy sorta dissed it saying it was Chinese stuff and waste of time, other guy thought it was pretty good for price and that it sounded better than he thought and he was suprised it didnt rattle like he thought.

IMO: Its pretty loud. I dunno if i'll keep it on. HW drone isnt that bad with cruise on. Mostly city driving is loud in the 3k-4k rpm range like everyone else says. Ill try it out for a week and see

Also, for some reason, mine is a little crooked now. The left one is straight, but the right one is angled to the right a little. you cant tell in the first pic, but look in the second and third. any suggestions on fixing that? sorta bugs me

that exhaust is a copy of a copy - the guy that dissed it sounds like the more knowledgable of the two. Nothing new. Same as the topspeed, nvidia, and apexi - probably some no name ebay brands use the same design. IMO, Spend a little more on a better sounding, better flowing setup

i agree. it always makes me wonder what these people are thinking when they just start dissing other people's stuff. if you dont like it fine, dont need to try make the guy feel bad. there's probably a bunch of things on your own car that a lot of other people wouldnt like. btw, i think it looks nice.

 

I installed it about a week ago and like all others say, it is LOUD. And I still have headers and test pipes to install.

I dont like the civic can look myself but it looks as good or as bad as the topspeed, nvidia, and apexi exhausts.

If it didnt have the civic exhaust look I would have bought it myself but I got a deal on a nismo exhaust I couldnt pass up.

I am sure it would make a great turbo exhaust...

I would never say you better go spend the big money on the HKS. I don't think the DNX is anything great, but it is only a couple hundred bucks. You do get what you pay for to some extent. Good luck with it, I hope you like it.

I know this is a old old thread but i wanted to revive it and add that I have had this exhaust on my car for 2+ years and purchased it used for $80 installed it myself... No issues at all thus far the sound is great and get compliments all the time... rev it up and drop in neutral and it sounds like a bike... pop pop pop mean as hell
