Default Got pricing on install for Popcharger..

So I talked to SpecialtyZ today, specifically about installing a JWT popcharger. They quoted me $60. Is that a decent price? I'm asking because, while I might try to install the popcharger myself, I plan on using them for future mods (exhaust, springs, etc). So actually, what price range is good for an exhaust install. And springs?

Sorry, lots of questions, just trying to sort this out.

Thanks.

popcharger = $0, exhaust = $0, springs = $0.... you can do all of them by yourself....

I know that, well I am not going to try exhaust or springs by myself. But I'm saying, is that a rip-off price or decent? I mean, I've been quoted $100 and even $180 to install a CAI, which was hilarious.

Like I said, I will try installing myself, but I want to know about pricing.

To me $60 is high and a lot of members here will do the install for a beer... but if a pro installation gives you the peace of mind, then go for it....

It took my installer literally 15 minutes, if that, to install it. Have them charge you their normal hourly rate....and sit there and watch them.

I'm no motorhead and got it done in under 30 minutes with a screwdriver and a 10mm ratchet. Don't end up paying 50% more just for the install.

$60 sounds OK for one hour labor. If you want to establish a relationship with a shop, this is a good place to start.

DIY, and save the $, but be careful on that bottom bolt, I didn't know one was there and did this, just be careful and take your time. Search, there's a DIY install guide somewhere in the black hole of the search button!

i can understand establishing a relationship with a shop and its installers but cannot understand or justify $60 to un-bolt/bolt like 8 bolts to install a popcharger. You might as well drive it to Jim Wolf himself or better yet drive it to my house and ill do it for you, despite the couple thousand miles.

They are charging you 60$ because it takes 20-30min. and most shops have a one hour min. .........$60per hour.

Alright fine, I'll do it myself. :-P
It's okay, I have a friend who works on his accord, I'm sure he can come watch me, make sure I don't put a hole in the engine.

good choice! You will find it more rewarding doing it yourself and after you get done in 15- 20 minutes then you will know how big of a rip off it was paying $60

Last question.. where can I find the best price for a popcharger online? (And yes, i've searched forever on this, either it's deep down in some random thread or I am just plain retarded)
