Default Injen RD1985 or SP1986 ?????

Hello, Can someone tell me what the difference is between the RD1985 CAI, and the SP1986? Ive read that the SP1986 has greater gains in power, and was wondering what the difference is. I may purchase the rare gunmetal colored Injen CAI from a fellow member, but I am unsure as to if it is a wise decision. Is the Gunmetal the 1st generation intake? thanks in advance

The 1986 is their newest version. They changed the main intake tube, it now has a mount for the MAF Sensor where the 1985 you kept the MAF Sensor in the Plastic Nissan mount. Also the 1986 has this new Tri-Step in the Main Intake Tube which is supposed to increase performance over the 1985.

The RD1985 I think was the version with Red hoses and air filter, then they went to black hoses and blue filter.

I think the Gunmetal version was 1st generation but not positive.
