Default Cats on 3" APS exhaust?

What catalytic converter are you using on your 3" APS exhaust?

Any cat will bolt up... even stock, but there isn't much point in using them. I pretty sure the largest cat currently made for the Z has 2.5 inch pipes.

I would be surprised if there is anyone out there using cats with that setup.

There is no cat to fit the 3" APS exhaust, it is designed to work with the 3.5" down pipes only.

Are you saying that they will not bolt up? I admit, It would be pointless, but I thought any cat or TP could physically bolt up? Is that incorrect?

It would be in the same place to bolt up, but the opening is 3" and would leak when coupled to a 2.5" test pipe..

Perhaps it's for TT applications where the increased volume can be useful?
