Default Exhaust Help! Everyone Read, give opinion please!

Ok everyone...I have been asking around everywhere. I want an exhaust. Everyone is telling me something different!! People tell me it depends on what i want to do with the car...bla bla...I have an Injen intake and ground kit...i want pulleys, test pipe, exhaust, and plenum. And thats all im going to do to the car aside from clutch and flywheel later. Whats the best combo for those four that are underlined??? I dont want the car to sound raspy, i want it to sound exotic and somewhat stock but louder! Keep in mind i want the car to have a good mix of tq and hp...but tq is what wins races... Please help me guys...this is so stressfull. Thank You so much

I have the NISMO Exhaust and it sounds VERY nice. I also had the APS High Boy Inlet Plenum installed and they work well together.

I have the Nismo Exhaust (along w/ Craford cats, Crawford plenum & Injen CAI). The sound is very exotic, like stock but louder. I haven't noticed any drop in torgue, but do feel more power in the upper RPM's.

Nismo is not bad, but I opted for the Espelir . . . it gives the exotic sound with test pipes and remains about stock sound until WOT. No droning either.

I recommend that you

a. Set a budget.
b. Decide what configuration you want. Single. Dual. One or two mufflers. Y-pipe?
c. Shop for catback exhaust systems which meets your budget and selection criteria.
d. Pick your favorite.

Sport Z magazine did a exhaust shoot-out sometime ago. The results are posted here.

Dyno charts are ok, but its all about the system. Think of them as any component in car audio: by itself, it may be almighty (specs), but if not combined with the right selection of parts, it could be a waste of your money. Plus, no one has a controlled dyno chart, nor (typically) the same goals as you might have for your vehicle.

The Sport Z exhaust shootout will help, but you may find more useful information from the people who have owned more than one setup and their reasons for changing.
