the purpose of the h-pipe is to equalize some of the excess pressure between the "quiet side" and "active side" of the two exhaust sides because the engine cycle fires cylinder(s) on one side but not on the opposite corresponding side(s). this creates more low to midrange torque so i wouldn't get rid of it

+1, it will also significantly change the sound as well. You can swap it out with a x-pipe for better flow.

Has anyone actually done this with the Magnaflow part and a Borla TD exhaust?
