Default Should I put a light coat of oil on the pop charger?

Before I install it, should I do anthing to it. I thought you're sopposed to coat it with something to keep the dust from entering. Or should I just install it normaly....?

Thx.

The PC comes pre-oiled from the manufacturer. You will not need to oil it again until you clean it.

normally you should clean after 50,000 miles according to K&N. but under extreme conditions you should clean more often. Check out your filter, if it seems as the intake is sucking harder than normal, then get a filtercharger kit from k&N and clean that sucker.
