Mrev2 on Revup...
I am getting what I think may be a little mis-fire or something when parked and idling. Sort of a sputter or somthing every couple of seconds. The sputter is very pronounced too meaning I can feel it sort of shake the car.
This defintely wasnt present before my install of the mrev v2 and the 5/16th spacer and I do not recall it happening on saturday. I didnt drive any where on sunday.
I would appreciate you thoughts. Thanks.

Many thanks Aceman,
That kind of what I figured. I did use a torque, in lbs, wrench but I had read where some folks had to go back and re-tighten a few bolts.
Thanks for the very speedy reply.

I have had my plenum off sooooo many times. I remember starting with Version 1 of the kinetix ( cracked ) version 2 ( cracked ) version 3 ( cracked ) Version 4
then sold that and bought the SSV. I can take the SSV off and put it back on in 20mins, thats with removing the strut bar
Yeah, i would just double check everything, another spot could be where your Throttle body conects to the plenum ( the bottom right hex screw is tough to get to and tighten sometimes).
Good luck

Yeah I used it. Too my suprise they still backed out. I am going to buy something a little stronger and see if that helps.
Once i get my autoenginuity.com scantool updated I am going to reinstall the old plenum and road dyno my G. It comes with a dyno application called speed tracer; the software is a chassis dyno application and actually factors in friction, drag, tire size, weight, enviroment variables etc so the numbers will be real world. I think it willl be an apples to oranges comparison if you try to compare it to dynojet or dyna pack though.
I intend to dyno the following configs: mrev v2 with the 5/16 spacer, mrev v2 alone, stock plenum and stock plenum with the spacer. This should take place next weekend or possibly the weekend after that becasue I am sending my scantool adapter in for an update and I am using ground shipping both ways to Az.
I have to admit that it, the mrev v2 and spacer, has been performing very well and I am happy with what I am feeling. However, like you I want to see the numbers.

according to the other posts, it seems as though getting an MREVv2 and a 5/16th isnt as productive unless you were to do some tuning. that being, you have a 287motor.
" mrev v2 is your bang for the buck" is what i belive it said....
initially i was going to go only with a spacer, but if tony lists his price at 346 again, why not pay an extra 50 bucks and go with the Mrev v2 alone.
