so a friend of mine put the greddy g2 on his z and it keeps throwing a check engine code. he took it to the dealer and they said dual exhausts will do that. have you guys run into that cause i think the dealer is prob just blowing smoke.

 

search for greddy evo2 and evap canister. Most likely it is throwing the code for the evap canister since this exhaust is supposed to relocate it.

 

I got HKS dual and never have prob. with it. The dealer just bs you

 

yeah, dual exausts do not throw codes. dealer is smokin crack

 

If he disconnected the evap cannister, it'll throw a code. Which code is it? If it's the P045X code, then it's the evap cannister, and I posted a fix for that here recently.

 

alright guys i appreciate it. i'm gonna run duals. i've got it narrowed down to apexi n1 or borla. any suggestions? a friend of mine has a sr20 duece (240) and he's all about the apexi.
