Crawford Big Mouth Polished Plenum
#67
Doug is having a new butterfly for the TB made. The first one was not large enough. I was throwing all kinds of codes and going into limp mode after one good pull. It makes it very hard to test.
Remember this is a completely brand new cnc'ed throttle body these setbacks will happen.

thank you for the update. good luck, i cant wait to see how it turns out! this strikes me as the kind of thing that would make more gains if you took it to technosquare and they flashed your ecu for it. what are your thoughts?

another intresting thought is....many of us have a the MD spacer, what will happen if we added this new big mouth penlum and new throttle body? Anyone from crawford wanna take a bite at it?

I don't understand the point of adding the spacer to the Crawford or Aps for that matter. As much R/D goes into it, I'm sure if it made any gains for their plemium they would just build it taller. I could be wrong though, just a guess.

It hadn't died yet we have just been to damn busy in the shop to do anything . The end of Aug usually gets a little slower and I'm hoping to try it again in the next week or so to see if we can get the thing calibrated right and go to the dyno.

The eng will get a lot more air, but the spacer will not work with the plenum it would be too tall.
