should i get my resonator taken off or have my muffler taken off? which would be better and does anyone have a picture of under the Z thanks for ur advice if someone has done this please post ur expierances

Default remove the resonator first then if you

need more sound replace the muffler. This is the least expensive way to go.

Don't replace, just remove the muffler! Heard one at the track this weekend and it was awesome. Just unbolt it, drive around and see if you like, then if you do, have some pipes made to get the exhaust out from under.

Well, if I was in your position I would start by removing the muffler. I removed my resonater and it sounds raspy when the exhaust is cold. So maybe if you only remove the muffler and leave the resonater on, you may get quite a bit more sound without having to keep the revs downs when you first start the car because it sounds so bad. Let us know how it goes.

today i had my resonator removed and it sounds like **** when cold does anyone know why is it because the cats are cold?
