Question My concern/discovery based on my new vs. old HKS Hi Power

I felt like i had to bring this to attention and i hope a knoledgable person can chime in on this one.

The story: I had bought a HKS Hi Power when they pretty much first arrived on the market(almost 1 year ago). I mated the setup with test pipes. A couple of months later i decided to switch to Topspeed which was uber loud and decided to purchase the HKS AGAIN about 2 weeks ago.

The concern/discovery: Has HKS been pressed for noice restrictions? My new HKS is MUCH quieter now than the last one i had. It sounds like the old HKS i had with OEM CATS and i have test pipes with the new one. I am concerned if their is more restriction on this new system anywhere on the mufflers or resonators which is something i was personally don't want.

I'll be making a few calls to HKS and see whats up. But i am curious if anything has really changed with their current systems.

Maybe it's just you getting used to an exhaust quieter than the topspeed? Just a thought...
