Default Yet another 02 question

I just recently went from Crawford HFCs to OEM cats. After the switch I threw a CEL. I had the code pulled and it came back with a P0057 (second bank something or other). My question is, why the hell would I have a problem with OEM cats but not HFCs? I want to make sure no one else has seen this before I drop $200 on a new set of O2 sensors.

I also have Crawford plenum and Crafword headers, if that helps determine the issue.

Thanks in Advance

I wouldnt worry so much about CEL. It will readjust and the light will be off.

I did "reset" the ECU by unplugging the battery overnight. The CEL light came back after that. Could it be my O2 sensors? Also, I have driven the car for 500 plus miles with the reset ECU and it has not "readjusted".

sounds like you have possibly messed up the O2 sensors. Did you touch the ends with your fingers or anything at all? Oils from your hands, wiping them off and stuff will mess them up. Make sure they are tight, etc. Also, make sure the upper ones are in good as well.

Just check your install.

i bet your O2 sensor isnt plugged in all the way...its pretty hard to mess up your 02 sensor..it goes through a torture with heat so touching it with finger isnt gonna affect it that easily.

check the connection again.. even the electrical wiring connection.

I am having the SAME problem going from stock to Kinetix HFC's right now. Same code as well. I have just posted it on the forums. So far, it seems as if the o2 got messed up somehow on the install??????
